7. Operation
7.1 Programming Mode
The master code factory setting is 1234.
To enter the programming mode, enter the Master Code twice in succession.
Example: 1234 1234
As soon as the correct code is entered, the colour of the "red/yellow" LED (3) changes from red to amber.
You are now in programming mode and can make the settings described in the following.
Observe that too short a pressure on the respective button on the touch screen will cause the
input not to be registered.
The programming mode can be exited using the "#" button.
7.2 Setting the master code
To determine a new master code, enter the following combination:
Input example: Explanation
*
MMMM MMMM
00 code #
Important!
For the selection of master and user code is important to note that these have the same number
of characters.
If you for example here program a master code with 6 characters, later also need the user code
exactly 6 characters (see Section 7.3).
If the character length of the master code is changed (e.g. if you programme a new master code
with 4 characters), you need to re-programme the user codes as well (also with 4 characters).
20
Explication
MMMM = current master code
code = new master code (4-8 characters)
