Possible cause/solution
• Adjust the toasting level to a lower setting on the rotary knob.
• Pull out the mains plug and allow the toaster to cool down.
Move the lowering lever up and down a few times to release
bread which is stuck.
• The crumb tray is probably full. Pull out the mains plug and
allow the toaster to cool down. Clean the crumb tray.
• The toast is too thick. Pull out the mains plug and allow the
toaster to cool down. Move the lowering lever up and down a
few times to lever out the bread.
