Proper Use
❐ Check the devices for damage each time before you use them. If the devices, cables
or plugs show visible signs of damage, the devices must not be used. Do not use the
devices if they have malfunctioned or been dropped.
❐ If a device is broken, do not attempt to repair it yourself. In the event of any damage,
contact our customer service department.
❐ Do not use any other accessories. Only use accessories supplied with the device
by the manufacturer.
❐ Do not drop the devices or allow them to be knocked violently.
❐ Do not leave the devices switched on when they are unattended.
❐ Remove the mains plug from the mains socket
– when you are not using a device,
– if a fault occurs while the device is in operation,
– when you remove the crumb tray from the toaster,
– when there is a thunderstorm,
– before you clean it.
❐ When you want to remove the mains plug from the socket, always pull the plug and
not the cable.
❐ Never immerse the devices in water or other liquids! Ensure that the devices, cables
or plugs do not fall into water or become wet. If a device falls into water, switch off
the power supply immediately.
❐ Never touch the devices, cables or plugs with wet hands.
