5. Initial operation, initialisation
Establishing mains voltage (400V control units)
▶ Connect the mains cable to the mains power supply.
▶ Move the main switch
to the ON position

• The device checks the electrical components,
• Voltage test of the standby batteries.
• Menu item |3.10. Language| appears.
Establishing mains voltage (230V control units)
▶ Insert the safety plug into the designated socket.
▶ Move the main switch
to the ON position

Switching on/off
Proceed as described for initial operation. Turn the main switch (1) to position
I (ON/OFF). Following a successful system test, |0 System info| appears
on the display and the green LED (3) indicates that the unit is ready for operation.
If the display does not show initialisation ( |3.10. Language|) the control
unit has already been initialised. In this case, the parameters set must be checked
or the unit must be reset to the factory setting (|3.11 Reset|). After the
factory settings have been reset, the control unit starts initialisation automatically.
Please note that the counter for the maintenance interval is not changed by a reset
to the factory settings.

Fault displays
If a state occurs which triggers a message (e.g. fault on a pump,
wastewater level has reached alarm level), the alarm LED (5) will
light up. A plain text fault message may be shown on the display.
Press the alarm key (4) briefly.
Pressing the alarm (4) for 5 s acknowledges the alarm. The
message disappears, the acknowledgement is noted in the log
book.
