Battery tester
Note
The battery tester can only be put
in operation if the power supply is
switched off.
Connect the terminals with the vehicle battery
■
(red terminal with "+" and black terminal with
"-") to determine the charging state of the battery
with the battery tester, which will be shown on
the display.
The battery must be at ambient temperature
■
(20°C) and at least 4 hours in resting state
(without charging any vehicle or intelligent bat-
tery care) to ensure that the displayed value is
reliable.
If a battery was charged within the last 4 hours,
the displayed value will be higher. Before a
battery is charged, it is always tested to ensure
optimum charging conditions for the intelligent
battery care system.
