Pulling and lifting

І
Do not fill any chain lubricating oil.
І
Use gasoline mixture according to Stihl specifications.
Always thoroughly shake the mixture in the canister before fuelling
your machine. Do not use old mixture.
The STIHL gasoline motor should be operated according to STIHL's operating instructions.
Before beginning with any haulage operations, check the fuel and, if necessary, refill the
tank. The machine can work for about 15 min. with one tank filling (corresponds to a rope
distance of about 150 m).
Starting the motor:
1.
Start the motor
2.
The chain brake must be released.
As a means of protecting the clutch, the
chain brake should not be engaged too long
3.
Put the drive wheel into motion by activating
the throttle lever.
Give enough gas to make the motor run
"smoothly" and to ensure
that the centrifugal clutch becomes properly
engaged.
Stopping the driving wheel:
Release the throttle lever. The driving wheel will stop immediately, and the built-in bake run
safety mechanism prevents the driving wheel from turning backwards.
In case of emergency, e.g. the throttle lever becomes jammed:
Block the motor with the chain brake.
Starting up again under load:
1.
Release chain brake.
2.
Pull the throttle lever quickly, so that the motor gains the required speed and the
centrifugal clutch immediately transmits the needed torque.
