Preparation
The pulling force
•
Is estimated on the basis of the load that is to be moved or determined with a load-
measuring device.
Depending on whether the load will only be pulled or whether it will also be lifted, the
pulling force may have to be smaller or greater.
The pulling force must not be greater than the nominal pulling force of the pulling machine,
i.e. 16 kN (use rope tension measuring devices).
In the event of greater forces:
•
Reduce the pulling force by inserting a rope pulley. Use appropriated anchor points
and fastening devices.
•
Determine and prepare fastening device for the load.
Determine a location for the machine that provides good anchorage, and attach the pulling
machine with suitable fastening devices in such a way that it can adjust itself in the
direction of pull.

The machine has to be able to adjust itself freely in the direction of
pull of the rope. Danger of breaking the housing!

Lay down the rope.
