Electrical connection
Take due note of VDE 0100 and the
regulations of the electricity supply
company. The storage tank is intended to
be provi-ded with a permanent
connection. SHW units have a basis
heating system and a fast-action heating
system which can be switched on
separately, activated by the pushbutton.
If the electricity supply com-pany does
not permit booster heating, the push-
button (Fig. 4, Item 3) must be covered
over with the plastic flap located in the
cover.

Connection work
– Remove the cover flap of the element
and introduce the cable.
– Connect the protective earth, and
connect the device in accordance with
the connection examples (Fig. 8, 9 or 10).
The rating plate is to be marked with an
adhesive label (connected power rating).
A suitable label is provided in the ele-
ment cover.
– Refit the element cover.
– The storage cylinder must be capable of
being isolated from the mains on all
poles by means of an isolating distance
of at least 3 mm.
Temperature limitation
Electrical heating element
– If the user wishes, the water
temperature limit of 60 °C can be
adjusted.
– Isolate the storage tank from the mains,
set the thermostat (Fig. 2, Item 2) to
and pull the button up.
– Limitation to 45 °C
Draw the limitation disk off the axis of
the temperature selector, and rotate it
through 180 °C (Fig. 11, Item 4).
– Limitation to approx. 80 °C
– Remove the limiter element of the
limiter disk from the axis of the
temperature selector, and push the
temperature selector back on.
Take note of the instructions of the
Energy Conservation Law (see also
page 13).

Raccordement électrique
Il est impératif de respecter les normes lo-
cales et nationales en vigueur (VDE 0100)
et les directives de l'entreprise distributrice
d'électricité. Le chauffe-eau est destiné à
recevoir un raccordement à demeure. Les
chauffe-eau sur socle SHW sont équipés
d'un chauffage de base et d'un réchauffage
rapide, que l'on met en route en appuyant
sur le bouton-poussoir. Si les prescriptions
du distribu-teur d'électricité ne per-
mettent pas l'utili-sation d'un réchauffage
rapide, recouvrir le bouton-poussoir
(fig. 4, réf. 3) avec le capuchon en matière
plastique se trouvant dans le boîtier de
commande.

Travaux de raccordement
– Retirer le capot du boîtier de
commande et faire passer le câble.
– Raccorder le conducteur de protection,
brancher le chauffe-eau conformément
aux exemples de branchement donnés
aux figures 8, 9 et 10. Apposer sur la
plaque signalétique l'autocollant portant
l'indication de la puissance raccordée. A
cette fin, un autocollant se trouve dans
le capot du boîtier de commande.
– Remonter le capot du boîtier de
commande.
– Le chauffe-eau doit être relié au réseau
électrique au moyen d'un dispositif de
coupure omnipolaire ayant une ouver-
ture minimale des contacts de 3 mm.
Limitation de la température

– Sur demande de l'utilisateur, la
température de l'eau limitée d'origine à
60 °C peut être modifiée.
– Débrancher le chauffe-eau, placer le
thermostat (fig. 2, réf. 2) sur
bouton.
– Limitation à 45 °C
Enlever la rondelle de limitation de
température se trouvant sur l'axe du
thermostat de réglage et la faire pivoter
de 180° (fig. 11, réf. 4).
– Limitation à 80 °C
Enlever la rondelle de limitation de
température se trouvant sur l'axe du
thermostat de réglage, remettre en
place le thermostat.
Respecter les règles en vigueur en
matière d'économies d'énergie (cf. p. 6)
et les normes et directives locales et
nationales en vigueur pour la distribu-
tion d'eau chaude sanitaire.

Elektrische aansluiting
Zorg dat de elektrische aansluiting in
overeenstemming is met de VDE 0100 en
de plaatselijk voorschriften. De boiler
moet vast verankerd worden. De staande
boilers van het type SHW hebben een
basis-verwarmingselement en een met
drukknop handmatig inschakelbaar snel-
verwarmingselement. Indien het plaatselijk
elektriciteitsbedrijf het gebruik van een
snelverwarmingselement niet toestaat, dan
moet de drukknop (afb. 4, pos 3) met de
in de schakelkast liggende kunststofkap
worden afgedekt.

Aansluitingen
– Deksel van schakelkast afnemen en
kabels invoeren.
– Kabels volgens de stroomschema's
(afb. 8, 9 of 10) aansluiten. Sticker met
gekozen functie op het typeplaatje
aanbrengen. De sticker vindt u in het
deksel van de schakelkast.
– Deksel van schakelkast weer monteren.
– De boiler dient over een minimale
afstand van 3 mm op alle polen van het
net losgekoppeld te kunnen worden.
Temperatuurbegrenzing
Elektrische flens
– Indien gewenst kan de op 60 °C
ingestelde watertemperatuur worden
gewijzigd.
– Boiler van stroomnet loskoppelen,
temperatuurregelaar (afb. 2, pos. 2) op
zetten en knop uittrekken.
– Begrenzing op 45 °C
Trek de begrensschijf van de as van de
temperatuurregelaar en draai deze 180°
(afb. 11, pos. 4).
, retirer le
– Begrenzing op ca. 80 °C
Trek de begrensschijf van de as van de
temperatuurregelaar.
Temperatuurregelaar opsteken.
