8. Programming (Basics)
a) General Information on Operation
• The button „MENU" (3) calls the room menu of the universal
thermostat, leaves a function (back one menu level) or returns
to the normal display.
• Button "OK" (2) is used for confi rmation.
• The buttons "–" (5) and "+" (6) permits selection of a function or
setting according to menu level.
• The bottom-most display line shows the corresponding text
messages, e.g. the function in which the room thermostat cur-
rently is. This strongly simplifi es programming.
• If you do not push any button for 15 seconds, the setting menu
is left automatically without saving the last change made.
b) Calling up or Leaving the Main Menu
Briefl y push the "MENU" button (3). The bottom-most display line
shows "USER SETTINGS".
Use the "–" (5) and "+" (6) buttons to switch between "USER SET-
TINGS" and "INSTALL SETTINGS". Confi rm the selection with "OK"
(2).
As already described in chapter 8. a), you may leave a function
with the button "MENU" (3) (one menu level
back) or completely leave the setting menu (the time and the cur-
rently measured temperature appears again).
