USE

Cooking-timer/alarm

• A cooking-timer can be set for each active cooking zone.
• The hob also has an alarm. Both the cooking-timer as well as the alarm can be set for a
maximum of 99 minutes.
• The alarm works in the same way as the cooking-timer, but is not linked to a cooking zone.
If the alarm has been set, it will continue counting down after the hob has been
switched off.
• The alarm can only be switched off when the hob is switched on.
Select the desired function:
• Cooking-timer — the timer is linked to a active cooking zone. After the set time has
elapsed, the cooking zone will switch off automatically.
• Alarm — the alarm only beeps after the set time has elapsed.

Description
The Bridge cooking zones can be linked to each other.
This creates one large zone that can be used for a large fish
pan or one large cooking pan.
If the zones are linked, they cannot be set to boost.

▷ Use a (fish) pan where at least one of the centre/
middle positions of the Bridge zones is covered.
You can use the boost function to cook for max. 8 minutes
at the highest power level. The boost function can only be
activated if it is applicable with the cooking zone selected.
If the boost function is active, an P is flashing alternately with
the power level on the corresponding display.
You can use this function to boil water and keep the
temperature close to the boiling point. If the cooking function
is activated, an b appears on the corresponding display.
The hob gives an acoustic signal to indicate that the
water is boiling and is being kept on the boil.
You can use this function to heat up oil to 160 °C.
If the baking function is activated, an F appears on the
corresponding display. The hob gives an acoustic signal to
indicate that the oil is ready for baking.
