Safety
The electrical connection may only be carried out by authorised per-
sonnel. The radio receiver must not be used in connection with devices
that may directly or indirectly serve health- or life-saving purposes or
cause hazards by operation to human beings, animals or asset values.
External sensors / switches
When mounting external sensors / switches, the mounting instruc-
tions must be observed at all times.
N.B.
The processing of one switching command from transmitter to re-
ceiver lasts approx. 80 to 100 ms on basis of the sWave® data trans-
mission. The switching signal of a transmitter must not be generated
in shorter time sequences otherwise this signal will be suppressed.

Maintenance
With rough conditions, we recommend routine maintenance as follows:
1. Remove all dirt or particles.
Battery
The remaining capacity of a battery is hard to evaluate, but an empty
battery can be assumed in case of doubt and with a battery voltage ap-
prox. <3.4 V at 20 °C. The battery should be replaced to ensure reliable
functioning. To do this, open the enclosure by removing the 5 cover
screws using a Torx 8 screwdriver. Check that polarity matches the
symbols inside the enclosure. Use only the designated or a comple-
mentary battery type. Depending on the country of delivery, the device
will be equipped with an AA lithium battery SL-760/3.6V/2.2Ah in a bat-
tery adapter; or a lithium battery SL-2770/3.6V/8.5Ah without an adap-
ter; or a complementary battery. Spare parts available at steute: ET
lithium battery SL-2770/S 3.6V/8.5Ah, Material no. 1202806; ET lithium
battery SL-760/3.6V/2.2Ah, Material no. 1351045.
Cleaning
- In case of damp cleaning: use water or mild, non-scratching,
non-chafing cleaners.
- Do not use aggressive cleaners or solvents.
Clean enclosure on the outside only. Clean enclosure with household
cleaning agents. Do not use compressed air to clean.

A status signal can be set by the user at various intervals with the

After successful adjustment replace the enclosure cover and tighten
the cover screws with approx. 0.45 Nm. Take care to ensure that there
is no debris trapped in the seal.
