ProCut top cutting variants:
Straight cut (longitudinal and lateral cut)
Position the foam board on the bearing rails (8), extract the cutting bow (17), slide the foam
board to the left as far as the cutting measurement (to be read on the measuring scale of the
bearing rail (8)) and then guide the cutting bow through the foam board. To generate multiple
cuts fix the slider for repeat cuts (14) on the left bearing rail (15): The board can be laid vertically
or horizontally on the bearing rail (8) to produce longitudinal or lateral cuts.
Longitudinal and lateral cut
Mitre cut
Transfer the mitre angle from the object to the foam board using the supplied sliding bevel.
Fold out the mitre aid (3). Undo the locking screws for the cutting bow (12). Position the board
on the bearing rail (8), then pivot the cutting bow to the right until the angle of the cutting bow
(17) and the mitre aid (3) correspond with the marking on the foam board. Secure the locking
screws (12) at the top and bottom and shift the locking element for mitre cuts (19) to the stop
of the cutting bow and fix in place. The mitre setting for repeat cuts remains in effect and cuts
can be reproduced without requiring any further adjustment.
Mitre cut
Bevel cut
Transfer the pitch of the roof to the foam board, extract the cutting bow and position the board
on the bearing rail (8). Undo the locking screw for the bearing rail (5). Raise the rail (8) with the
foam board and position the slider for reproducible bevel cuts (9) until the wire of the cutting
bow (17) corresponds with the marking on the foam board. Retighten the locking screw for the
bearing rail (5). The bevel setting for repeat cuts is now complete.
If the angle to be set for the bevel cut is known, this can be preset by using the angle scale for
bevel cuts (4).
Mitre/bevel cut
This cut is executed in the same way as a mitre cut and bevel cut. The board can also be mitred
Bevel cut
when executing the bevel cut.
Section cut-out, rebate / double rebate cut
Extract the cutting bow (17) to the desired depth, adjust both sliders for reproducible section
cut-outs (13) to the required level and secure in place. Position the foam board on the bearing
rail (8) and guide the cutting bow (17) through the board at the desired cutting point as far as the
stop of the depth limiter. Guide the foam board to the left to the desired measurement. Then
extract the cutting bow from the board.
To generate a rebate cut adjust the depth setting, guide the cutting bow (17) to its stop, position
the board on the bearing rails (8) and then slide the board to the left towards the marking and
extract the bow from the board.
To generate a double rebate cut repeat the process described above by guiding the cutting bow
Section cut-out
(17) into the board again, moving the board to the left and then removing the bow from the
board once more.
