Longitudinal and lateral cut
Mitre cut
Bevel cut
Rebate cut-out
Straight cut (longitudinal and lateral cut):
• Position the foam board on the bearing rail (no. 8), then extract the cutting bow
no. 6), slide the foam board to the left up to the cutting dimension
(required board width - to be read on the measuring scale of the bearing rail
(no. 8)) and then guide the cutting bow gently through the foam board.
The board can be positioned vertically or horizontally on the bearing rail (no. 8)
to enable longitudinal or lateral cuts.
Mitre cut
• Transfer the mitre angle from the object to the foam board using a sliding bevel
(art. no. 36 82 00 - not supplied); then unfold the mitre aid (no. 11),
position the board on the bearing rail (no. 8), loosen the set screws
(no. 2 and no. 5), then pivot the cutting bow (no. 6) to the right until the mitre
aid (no. 11) of the cutting bow (no. 6) corresponds with the marking on the foam
board. Retighten the upper and lower set screws (no. 2 and no. 5).
Bevel cut
• Transfer the slope to the foam board using a sliding bevel (art. no. 36 82 00
- not supplied) and position the board on the bearing rail (no. 8).
Extract the cutting bow, loosen the set screw (no. 7) for the bearing rail and raise
the support (no. 8) with the foam board until the wire of the cutting bow (no. 6)
corresponds with the marking on the foam board. Retighten the set screw (no. 7)
and guide the cutting wire through the board.
Mitre/bevel cut
This cut is executed in the same way as a mitre cut and bevel cut. The board can also be mitred
when executing the bevel cut.
section cut-out
Rebate and section cut-outs
Transfer the relevant dimensions to the foam board and positi-
on the board on th bearing rail (no. 8). Extract the cutting bow
(no. 6) to the desired rebate measurement and hold it in place.
The measurement can be read on the scale (no. 10) on the lo-
wer angled profile of the cutting bow (no. 6). Guide the board
to the left until the wire has reached the end of the marking
and then pull the wire from the board.
When making a section cut-out repeat the previously described
process, but start by guiding the wire through the board at the
desired point up to the marking. When this area has been reached
the panel is offset to the left and the cutting bow is removed from
the board again.
