Initial installation/set-up
. Before putting it into operation for the first time, clean with a cleaning agent which dissolves
grease.
D For cleaning, see page 14 chapter 4.
. Thoroughly dry the cleaned surfaces.
. Also dry the large steel cooking field by briefly warming it up.
2.2
Cooking
Notes
D Only use pots and pans which are suitable for electric cookers.
D Only put pots and pans on the large steel cooking field if it's clean.
D Immediately remove dirt, salt, spices, water and food remnants from the large steel cooking
field. Otherwise the large steel cooking field may rust and you will have a lot of work to do to
remove rust.
D Do not put wet pots on the large steel cooking field.
D For dishes containing a lot of liquid, use high pots, to prevent boiling over.
D Put lids on pots, if the cooking process allows this.
D To keep warm and to melt butter or fat, only select low temperature settings.
Gastronorm container
Getting ready for use
. Fit the Gastronorm container or drip catcher
D Fat and residues from frying can drain away
