PUMP ROTOR (see illustration E):
• Remove the front section and take out the rotor.
• Remove any lime scale or impurities with a soft brush.
• Do not use detergents of chemical substances.
• Reassemble the parts in the reverse order.
• Clean the pump regularly.
Also, regularly check that the pump intake grilles are not blocked. CO2ENERGY MIXER
does not release bubbles towards the aquarium water surface, as do most traditional
mixers in the market. This apparent anomaly represents the concrete proof of the
excellent quality of Ferplast product, since it ensures the dispersion of the carbon
dioxide produced by the system.
PARTS AND ACCESSORIES. Every part of the COCO2ENERGY MIXER system can be easily
replaced. The parts are available from the retailer where you bought it. A full range of
constantly updated Ferplast accessories is also available for adapting your aquarium to
your individual needs. To replace any part and always ensure the full working order and
safety of your product, use only Ferplast original parts. Installing non-Ferplast parts
nullifies the guarantee.
GUARANTEE. This product, all its parts and accessories are covered by warranty
within the limits provided for in this paragraph and the legal regulations currently in
force. The guarantee only covers manufacturing defects and provides for free repair
or replacement. The guarantee does not cover damage and/or defects caused by
carelessness, wear and tear, usage not in accordance with the instructions and warnings
in this booklet, accidents, tampering, improper use, incorrect repairs and purchases not
confirmed by receipt.

INTRODUZIONE. Per crescere rigogliose, le piante del vostro acquario necessitano di:
• luce, indispensabile per la fotosintesi;
• fertilizzante, importante per l'assorbimento dei sali minerali;
• acqua con caratteristiche chimico-fisiche adatte;
• anidride carbonica (CO2), importante per l'assimilazione del carbonio. Durante
il giorno le piante assorbono CO2 per rilasciare nell'ambiente ossigeno, elemento
fondamentale per tutti gli altri abitanti dell'acquario. E' quindi importante che sia
sempre presente la giusta concentrazione di CO2, affinchè alcune piante, assimilando
il carbonio dai carbonati, non abbassino troppo la durezza temporanea (KH) ed il pH
(KH<4dH; pH<6). La CO2, sottoforma di acido carbonico, oltre che da fertilizzante, funge
da regolatore costante del pH (aumentando la concentrazione di CO2 disciolta in acqua,
