Possible cause/solution
•
Is the plug inserted in the mains socket correctly?
•
Is the mains socket defective? Try another mains
socket.
•
Check the fuse of your mains connection.
•
Is the device switched on? Press the On/Off but-
ton.
•
Is the exhaust air valve in the handle open? Close
it.
•
Adjust the suction strength on the suction strength
control.
•
Is the dust container full? Empty the dust container.
•
Is the HEPA fi lter or one of the other fi lters clogged
up? Clean the fi lters.
•
Is the nozzle, the telescopic tube or the suction
hose clogged? Pull the mains plug out of the socket
and remove the objects causing the blockage from
the nozzle, telescopic tube and/or suction hose.
Check whether the HEPA dust fi lter is inserted into
the dust container correctly and whether the dust con-
tainer is closed and inserted correctly. Correct this if
necessary.
A new odour is normal when the device is used for the
fi rst time and this does not indicate a defect with the
device. The odour will disappear after a little while.
