1. If you have not already done so, release the hand-held
steam cleaner from its console:
- To do so, press its release catch (Fig. 18/1).
- Firmly pull the hand-held steam cleaner from the con-
sole at the same time (Fig. 18/2).
2. Slide the steam hose adapter onto the appliance con-
nection piece so that the small triangle on the adapter is
positioned opposite the small triangle on the appliance
connection piece (Fig. 19).
3. Secure the steam hose by turning it 90° in the direction
of the arrow, pushing it simultaneously (Fig. 20).
WARNING:
Risk of burns! The tip of the steam hose becomes very
hot during operation. Never operate the appliance with-
out having fitted further attachments to the steam hose.
NOTE:
You can detach the steam hose by simultaneously push-
ing it in and turning it in the opposite direction (Fig. 21).
4. Now mount the pinpoint nozzle on the steam hose
(Chapter 7.2, "Attaching the pinpoint nozzle").
