Operation
WARNING:
Danger of injury! Check appliance and
power cord before each use. A damaged
appliance must never be used.
ATTENTION:
Before starting cleaning, check whether the
particular floor surface is suitable for steam
cleaning. If you are not sure, first clean an
inconspicuous part of the floor. Always
observe the cleaning instructions for the
individual types of flooring. They could
become damaged. Glass surfaces can
shatter as a result of heat shock.
ATTENTION:
Operate the device only with the water tank
filled and a clean microfiber cloth attached..
Otherwise the appliance and the flooring
might suffer damage.
NOTE:
The steam cleaner has an overheating
protection
device.
automatically if overheated (e.g. due to an
empty water tank). In this case pull out the
plug. Remove the cause of the overheating.
Wait for about 45 minutes. Once the steam
cleaner has cooled down you can switch it
on again.
NOTE:
Your steam cleaner is not suitable for deep
cleaning carpets or for removing stubborn
stains. To remove stubborn stains, we
recommend
working
beforehand
with
a
provided the particular flooring permits this.
NOTE:
It is recommended to first sweep or vacuum-
clean floors before using the steam cleaner
on them.

3.1 Steam cleaning
WARNING:
Risk of scalding! Always point the steam jet
downwards towards the surface to be
cleaned. Never lay the appliance on its side
during operation. Using the appliance in a
horizontal position or even over your head
is forbidden.
ATTENTION:
Before connecting the plug to the power
supply, make sure that the voltage stated
on the type plate matches the voltage of
your plug socket. Only use plug sockets
with a grounding contact.
1. Before starting the appliance, check that
the water tank is full and the attached
microfibre cleaning-cloth is clean.
2. Insert the plug into the plug socket. The
green operating indicator light (fig. 1/1)
lights up. The appliance is now heating up.
3. Wait approx. 30 seconds until the
appliance has built up steam. Steams
starts to escape when the appliance is
ready
NOTE:
During first operation it may be necessary
to pump 3 to 5 times during the preheating
cycle before you can hear and see steam
starting to escape..
4. Now moisten the microfiber cleaning-cloth
by pumping several times (approx 5 to 7
times).
