Pre-wet brewing
The coffee is initially brewed with a small quantity of hot
water and the filtering process is interrupted briefly� This
causes the coffee powder to swell and the aromas can
develop better� The filtering process is then continued
automatically�
Setting
1� 17 Press the "Settings" button�
͵ The display shows a "Cb" or "Pb"�
2� 18 Press the "Start/stop" button until the required
setting appears on the display: Cb = Continuous
brewing, Pb = Pre-wet brewing�
3� 19 To save, press the "Settings" button until the
display reverts back to the initial state�

Coffee
The ground coffee must be suitable for use in commercial
coffee machines� Only use dry and loose coffee powder
without clumps�
Aroma setting
You can use the aroma selector to adjust the strength of
the brewed coffee to your personal taste�

Operation
1� If necessary, open the water stop tap at the water
supply line and switch on the main switch�
2� 20 Insert the filter insert into the machine with filter
paper and coffee powder�

3� Depending on version:
21a Without water connection: Fill the water

tank with the required quantity of water�
͵ To obtain a certain quantity of brewed coffee,
you must use approximately 10 % more water
as this remains in the coffee grounds and filter
paper�
21b With water connection: Select the required

quantity of water with the "Volume preselection"
button�
4� 22 Place the jug under the filter�
͵ For insulated jugs with pump function, insert the
pump pipe to get an optimal blending of the cof-
fee�

5� Press the "Start/stop" button�
͵ The button starts to flash�

͵ Wait for the filtering process to finish�

͵ Three short signals sound at the end of the
filtering process�
͵ 26 Machines with glass jug: The duration of the
keep-warm function is shown on the display�
Machines with glass jug: Top hot plate
A glass jug can be placed on the top hot plate to keep the
prepared coffee warm� With this a filtering process can
be started for another glass jug�
1� 27 Place the glass jug on the top hot plate�
2� 28 Press the "Top hot plate ON/OFF" button�
͵ The button lights up green�
3� To switch off, press the "Top hot plate ON/OFF"
button again�
͵ The button lights up white�
