1. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:

1. To protect against risk of electrical hazards, do not immerse the Comfortice Ice Crusher in water or
other liquids.
2. Unplug from outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling, and before cleaning.
3. Avoid contacting moving parts. Never place fingers or other utensils into feed or discharge areas.
4. The Comfortice Ice Crusher has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the
risk of electric shock, this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit,
contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way.
5. Do not operate the Comfortice Ice Crusher or any electrical equipment with a damaged cord or plug,
or after the unit malfunctions, is dropped or damaged cord or plug, or after the unit malfunctions, is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return it to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair or adjustment.
6. When the Comfortice Ice Crusher is used by or near children, close supervision is necessary.
7. Do no use outdoors.
8. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
9. Check feeder chute for presence of foreign objects before using.
10. Use only attachments that are included in the packaging of the Comfortice Ice Crusher. The use of
other attachments may cause fire. Electric shock or injury.
11. Put this list in a safe place, do not discard.
12. To protect against risk of electrical shock or fire, do not put motor base, cord or plug in the water
and keep them dry at all times;
13. This device is only meant for household use, NOT for commercial use;
14. This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental
disabilities, or a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they're under supervision or have received
instructions about the correct use of the device by the person who is responsible for their safety;
15. Make sure the device cannot move when it's being operated;
16. Make sure the device stands firmly on the surface before turning on; never open the device when it's
being operated;
17. Keep your hands and utensils out of the unit when the motor is running to prevent the possibility of
severe personal injury or damage to the appliance. Do not attempt to disassemble any attachments
while the motor is running;
18. Do not place the device near warm gas, electrical hobs or inside a heated oven;
19. Only use this device for its intended use;
20. Do not disassemble the base;
