• Use this booster seat forward-facing only�
• Discontinue use of this child seat if it has been in a moderate or severe crash� It is not
necessary to replace a car seat after a minor crash, defined by NHTSA as:
a� The vehicle is drivable from the crash site; and
b� The vehicle door nearest the child seat was not damaged; and
c� No vehicle occupants were injured; and
d� There is no visible damage to the child seat; and
e� The airbags (if present) did not deploy�
• Always support the base and backrest while lifting or carrying this booster seat�
• Cover the booster seat when the vehicle is parked in direct sunlight� Parts of the booster seat
could become hot enough to burn a child�
• Store the booster seat in a cool, dry place when it is not being used� Avoid placing heavy
objects on top of the booster seat�
• DO NOT except as described in this user guide attempt to disassemble any part of the
booster seat or change the way the vehicle's seat belts are used�
• DO NOT leave folding vehicle seats unsecured� In the event of a sudden stop, a loose seat
back could cause the booster seat not to perform as intended�
• DO NOT use anything to raise the booster seat off the vehicle seat� In a crash, this could
cause the booster seat not to perform as intended�
