COMMAND OPERATION

COMMAND POWER
By powering the MSC drive to which the command is connected, the LED lights up for about 3 seconds. Thereafter, the
command is in disabled mode, as confirmed by slow flashing.
COMMAND ENABLEMENT
To enable the command, press and hold the enable key for at least 1 second, with the lever
in the rest position (central position). The enable LED flashes faster, as a short beep sounds.
Release the enable key; the enable LED will remain permanently lit and the command will
be enabled.
Enabling is not possible if:
• the lever is not in the rest position (central position);
• a second command is present, enabled and in use;
• an operating error of the MSC device prevents enabling (refer to the paragraph "Notifica-
tions" for error codes).
THRUSTER OPERATION
The displacement of the lever from the central position with command enabled, makes it possible to proportionally modu-
late the thruster speed. By moving the lever to the far right or far left, the motor will run at full speed in one direction or the
other, as selected. The boat's stern or bow will move depending on the positioning of the thruster that is being controlled.
While in operation, the command releases a short acoustic signal every second.
Bow thruster operation
To move the bow to the right
move the lever to the right.
Stern thruster operation
To move the stern to the right
move the lever to the right.
WARNING: once the lever has been released, the boat could keep a certain momentum.
Note: if the thruster is operated at maximum speed in one direction and attempts are made to operate it at maximum

speed in the opposite direction (immediate transition from right to left, or vice versa),the MSC device delays the ope-
ration according to the acceleration and deceleration ramps, and the inversion time.
