KEEPING THE SELECTED DIRECTION
Allows maintaining a preset speed and direction without having to move the lever to the right or left.
To activate the hold function, it is necessary to enable command and follow the pro-
cedure below:
• move the lever from the central rest position until the desired speed is reached;
• press the HOLD key for at least 3 seconds; at the end of this period, you will hear a prolon-
ged sound.
• release the HOLD key and leave the lever so that it returns to the rest position.
The command signals the activation of the hold function by issuing short acoustic signals and
rapidly flashing the enabling LED.
To disable the hold function:
• press the HOLD key (the motor stops)
• move the lever from the central position (the motor adjusts its speed and direction accor-
ding to the new lever position).
• press the enable key (the command is disabled and the motor stops).
The hold function is deactivated autonomously (the motor stops) if:
• 2 minutes have elapsed since the function was activated
• a malfunction of the MSC device has occurred and the device cannot be used (refer to paragraph "Notifications" for error
codes).
WARNING: when the hold function is on, do not move away from the command.
WARNING: when the hold is deactivated, the boat may maintain a certain momentum.
COMMAND DISABLING
Disabling, with command enabled, occurs in the following cases:
• by pressing the enable button.
• When, if there is a second command, the latter is enabled while the first one is not in use.
• After 6 minutes from enabling without performing operations or from execution of the last command.
• A malfunction of the MSC device has occurred and the device cannot be used (refer to paragraph "Notifications").
The transition to the disabling status is signalled by the command with a 1-second long sound.
WARNING: once operations have been completed, deactivate the command using the enable button.
WARNING: practice to operate the thrusters in open waters, so that you can acquire a good command and knowledge
of the boat's behaviour.
OPERATION WITH TWO COMMANDS SIMULTANEOUSLY CONNECTED
If one of the two commands is enabled and in use, it is not possible to enable the other.
As soon as the lever of the first command is returned to the central position, the second command can be enabled.
At the same time, the first command is automatically disabled.
