After intensive use, the cooking zone used may stay hot for several
minutes. As long as the cooking zone is still hot an "H" will flash in the
display.
The cooking zones are equipped with a 'boost' function. The right front
and left rear zones can be used for a maximum of 1.5 hours on the
Boost setting. The cooking zone will switch off automatically once the
maximum boost time has passed. The right rear and left front zones
can be used for a maximum of 5 minutes on the Boost setting. After
these periods, these cooking zones automatically reduce to level 9.
Switch on Boost
• Place the pan in the middle of a cooking zone.
• Press the on/off button (C) for the cooking zone concerned.
The '0' next to the selected cooking zone will light up clearly.
• Select power level with the – and + buttons 9.
• When you select the – button directly, the cooking zone will switch
on at power level 9.
• Directly hereafter press the + button.
Level 'P' will appear in the cooking zone display (B).
Switch off Boost
The boost function has been switched on, the display shows level 'P'.
• Press the button (C) for the activated cooking zone.
• Directly hereafter press the – button (E).
The 'P' will disappear from the display and the cooking zone
reduces to power level 9.
Please note! Not all zones can be used simultaneously on the Boost
setting. The hob makes a beep when the maximum number of zones on
the Boost setting has been reached.
