Setting the water softener
The water softener removes minerals and
salts from the water supply. These minerals
and salts can cause damage to the appli-
ance.

2. Make sure that the appliance is in set-

7. Start the washing programme.

3. Press and hold the programme button
until the programme light A starts to
flash and the programme light B comes
on.
4. When the programme light B goes off
and the end-of-programme indicator
light starts to flash, press the pro-
gramme button again. (The programme
light A continues to flash).
At this point the electronic adjustment
of the water softener is active.
– The end-of-programme indicator light
shows sequences of flashes with a
pause of some seconds between
each sequence. The number of flash-
es shows the set level.
– Example: 5 flashes / pause / 5 flash-
es = level 5.
5. Press the programme button to change
the adjustment. Each time you press
the programme button the adjustment
goes to the subsequent level.
