the alarm can be used to stop the alarm
in all devices.
If the test/stop button (Illus. 1 point d)
of the device that sent the alarm is pres-
sed, the alarm of all forwarding devices
of the radio group or collective radio
group will be aborted. The alarm of the
smoke alarm device with radio link that
originally sent out the alarm can only be
aborted separately in the concerned de-
vice. This way, the location of fire can be
easily localised by identifying the smoke
alarm device with radio link to have ori-
ginally sent out the alarm.
Safety instruction:
By engaging the test/stop button (Illus.
1 point d) of a smoke alarm device with
radio link, an alarm can be stopped for
approx. 10 minutes and the sensitivity of
the devices is reduced during this period.

Please note that the smoke alarm(s) will
renew the alarm if the measurements of
the devices indicate that a serious situa-
tion does exist.
Possible causes of error
messages
1. The device to be assigned to a radio
group is not in connection mode. The
connection mode is active after its acti-
vation for approx. 10 minutes.
For reactivating the connection mo-
de, please follow the instructions in:
„Repeating connection attempt"
2. The devices in the radio group which
has another smoke alarm device wi-
th radio link to be assigned, are not in
connection mode. The connection mode
is active after its activation for approx.
10 minutes.
For activating the connection mo-
de, please follow the instructions in
„Expanding radio group/Restarting
connection mode".
3. The distance between two smoke
alarm devices with radio links - both in
active connection mode - is too much so
that no connection is possible.
Reduce the distance between the smo-
ke alarm devices with radio links by
using another smoke alarm device with
radio link.
4. A smoke alarm device with radio link
cannot be connected to a radio group.
Reset the concerned smoke alarm device
with radio link in delivery condition and
ensure that the connection mode is on
for all smoke alarm devices with radio
links for adding to a radio group.
