Phone book
Up to 20 phone numbers can be stored, with associated names, in the
phone book. A further 10 entries can be made in the VIP phone book.
Entries in the phone book can only be accessed from the handset in
which they were made. The entries in the VIP phone book can be
accessed by all the registered handsets.

9.7.1 Entering names

The digit keys are also labelled with letters for the entry of the respective
letters. Letters, digits and special characters are entered by pressing the
relevant key the respective number of times.
To enter a space, press 1 once.
To enter special characters, press on the 0 button, 1 button or # button
as often as necessary until the special character required appears.
To switch between input of upper and lower case letters, press the Star
button.
To enter the same letter twice, press the button to enter the letter. Wait
until the cursor moves on. Enter the letter again.
If an incorrect character is entered, delete the last entry by pressing the
C button (12.).
9.7.2 Creating phone book entries
Always enter the area access code with the phone numbers so that the
telephone can also assign incoming local calls to a phone book entry. If
the memory capacity of phone book is reached, a corresponding
message appears when an attempt is made to store another number. To
create space, an entry in the phone book must be deleted.
9.7.3 Dialling phone numbers from the phone book
After opening the phone book, entries can be accessed directly,
alphabetically. To do this, press the button with the corresponding first
letter of the phone book entry.
Select a phone book entry from the phone book or VIP phone book and
dial the number by pressing the Call button (9.).
