Installation checklist

When the mechanical assembly, fan connection and electrical
installation of MagnaTrack S is complete, the system is ready
for use after double-checking the following points:
• Check the disconnection procedure. The extraction hose
should disconnect from the exhaust pipe immediately before
the station door opening at normal speed, not more than
15 km/h (10 mph). Adjust the disconnection position by mo-
ving the disconnection magnet on the front rail (see assembly
instructions, point 7).
If the disconnection does not work at
all in the forward direction, move the
contact in the disconnection box
according to this figure.

Transformer (not included in the package):
Secondary voltage: 24V AC,
Protection class: IP 54, Power: 5 VA.
• Check that the hose lifts away correctly after discon-
nection and that it does not touch the station floor. When
required, adjust the cord length in the vertical hose (see
page 19).
• Check that the hose does not catch on to any part of
the vehicle or to the station door.
• Check the airflow in the nozzle opening with an airflow
indicator.
Engine size 0 – 4 litre: 400 m
Engine size > 4 – 10 litre: 1000 m
Engine size > 10 litres: 1200 m
If required, check the fan impeller rotation direction
and/or damper function.
• Check the electrical installation (disconnection box,
micro switch, magnet) according to the wiring diagram.
