Technical Description
PILOT III F-HD: Manual spray gun for conventional atomisation
Model versions: • with gravity-feed cup
• with syphon-feed cup
• with material connection
PILOT III F-MD: Manual spray gun for medium pressure
Model versions: • with gravity-feed cup
• with material connection.
The spraying pressure is 1.2 to 1.4 bar with an input pressure of 3.0 to 3.3 bar.
PILOT III K:
Manual spray gun for adhesives
Model versions: • with gravity-feed cup
• with material connection.
The material flow rate is dependent on the diameter of the nozzle and the adjustment
of the material pressure at the pressure tank or material pressure regulator. In additi-
on, the material flow rate can be controlled by screwing the adjusting screw in or out.
For further adjustment possibilities, see Section 6. Changing the Spray Pattern.
Changing the material input of the spray gun
The PILOT III F gun body allows for the possibility to change the material input
according to user needs. These changes can be performed within seconds.
1. Detach gravity-
2. Screw out the

feed cup
In case the operation must be reversed and a gra-
vity-feed cup is to be installed, the steps must be
taken accordingly. Medium-pressure guns, HVLP
guns and spray guns for use with adhesives may
not be equipped with a syphon-feed cup.
For technical data see p.11.

may be used (only
with high-pressure
HD spray guns)

Warning
Material and air hoses which are installed with a hose grommet must be addito-
nally secured with a hose clamp.
Design: Gravity-Feed Cup and Syphon-Feed Cup
1. Connect the air hose to the air pipe (cleaned compressed air) or on an air
2. Fill the cup with screened material.
3. Switch on the pneumatic system.
The spray gun can be taken into operation.
Design: Material Inlet
