To clean the suction nozzle bore and the suction tube, use the cleaning tool.
In the case of heavy deposits of dirt in the cone area, it is not possible to insert a new suction
nozzle. These deposits can be removed using the cleaning insert for the heater element
cone.

Repair of Defects

Defect: Desoldering iron does not heat.
Trouble Shooting: Disconnect iron from power supply and check with ohmmeter at the plug.
Pin
1.-2. Heater DS 80 = 6,2 ohm / DS 22 = 10,5 ohm
3.-4. Sensor 22 ohm
5. Potential balance zero ohm against tip ground
6.-1. Fingerswitch - operated zero ohm
7. Encoder pin for 80 Watt tools
If sensor or heater are interrupted remove cap of fingerswitch, detach 3 flange screws and
pull out the heating element.
Check sensor and heater at the terminal once more. If there is any interruption replace
heating element.
