WHEN ALUMINIUM RIMS ARE USED
STEERING WHEELS

Before taking the rim apart always let the air out of the tyres, or the sides of the rim could
come apart explosively and cause injury!

Make sure that the inner tube does not get caught in the sides of the rim
L
Only inflate the wheels to the max. tyre pressure (see "Technical details")
L
Check to see that all the screws on the wheels are firmly tightened before using the
wheelchair.

Before disassembling the rims, always let the air out of the tyres !

When assembling, make sure that the inner tube does not get caught between the sides of the
rim.

Only inflate the wheels to the max. tyre pressure (see "Technical details")

Check to see that all the screws on the wheels are firmly tightened before using the
wheelchair.

Screw adhesive (e.g. Loctite) should be applied to the screws on the flange. Screw adhesive
will only work if the thread is free of grease and particles.
L
Improper assembly voids any warranty claim.
A. Loosen the screw on the steering wheel axle and
B. Let the air out of the steering wheel by lightly pressing

C. Loosen the 5 screws that hold the split rim together.
Now separate the rim sides.
ASSEMBLY
Insert the partly-filled inner tube into the tyre.
C. Connect the two sides of the rim through the tyres and

B. Make sure that the valve juts out of the valve opening
A. Put the wheel back into the front wheel fork and inflate
A. Unscrew and remove the axle nut on the drive wheel
B. Let the air out of the wheel by lightly pressing the
C. Unscrew the 5 screws on the inside of the rim.
ASSEMBLY
