9.2 Processing the pipe with MVM
For more information on pipe processing with AVM, see chap. 9.1, p. 89.
For manual operation without AVM or MVM, see from chap. 9.3, page 95.
9.2.1 Shutting down (even in an emergency)

9.2.2 cutting the pipe with MVM
IMPORTAnT!
1. Adjust the pipe dimension (see chap. 8.6, p. 82).
2. Adjust the saw blade to the pipe dimension (see chap. 8.6.1, p. 82).
3. If necessary, tighten the hexagon nut of the saw blade fixture a fraction (see from chap. 8.5, page 80).
4. Adjust the spindle speed (for standard values, see from chap. 8.7.1, page 85).
5. Push the pipe through the vice up to the desired length and clamp it securely.
Pipes whose length exceeds 1 m must be supported with a pipe feeder (see chap. 8.1.3, p. 78).

eMeRGency STOP function not available by unplugging the power plug!
Diverse physical injuries and material damage.
X Do not use angled power plugs.
X Do not use click-in socket outlets and click-in power plugs (blue CEE power plugs) for
power connection, otherwise the EMERGENCY STOP does not function. The user must
check whether the power plug can be pulled out of the outlet by the cable.
X Only use original Orbitalum Tools parts.
X Ensure free access to the power plug.
X A radial space requirement/freedom of movement of approx. 2 m around the machine is
required for people.
X Activate by switching the ON/OFF toggle switch (12).

If the pipe cutter was out of operation for a relatively long time:
X Swivel the cutter motor by 180°.
X Switch pipe cutter on and let it run for about 10 seconds.
This relubricates all gear components.
Pull off the multifunctional wrench from the spindle before the slide housing starts rotating.
GF 4, GF 6, RA 8, RA 12 (AVM/MVM)
If the ON/OFF toggle switch (12) fails to work, remove the
plug from the socket or vacate the danger zone as quickly as
possible and then remove the plug.
