Fault diagnosis
The following simple checks may be performed by the operator
Trouble
Motors not working
Machine stalls during
operation.
Machine vibrates.
Vacuum motor
labouring.
* If the fuse blows several times, the machine should be checked by an authorises Service Agent

Set of Nylon brushes (standard brush)
Set of Tynex brushes (hard scrubbing brush)
Pack of 10 disposable paper bags
Brush retaining clips (2 required)
Escaclean chemical – 5 litres. 4 bottles per case
Reason
• Lack of voltage/electrical supply
• Current overload cut-out operated in
switch.
• Damaged brushes.
• Loose plug connection.
• Worn brushes
• Brushes incorrectly fitted.
• Brush cowl glide bars incorrectly set.
(Fig.1 / a).
• Dust bag full.
• Filter restricted.
Item
Remedy
• Check fuse *, supply cord, plug and
socket outlet
• Cut-out will reset automatically after a
few minutes. If cut-out operates
repeatedly check points below.
• Replace brushes.
• Check plug is fully inserted into mains
socket.
• Replace brushes.
• Refer to fitting instructions.
• Check height adjustment.
• Replace bag.
• Remove and clean.
