TYPE OF GASES
This appliance is adjusted to operate
with G30 at a pressure of 28-30 mbar.
The fitting (fig. 5.1) is made up of:
- 1 elbow fitting A (1/2"G)
- 1 adapter B
- 1 nut F
- gaskets D
The connection must be executed by
qualified technician according to the rele-
vant standards.
The hob must be installed in a room with
adequate ventilation (see page 22).
The gas pipe fitting can be turned in the
direction required once the nut F has
been loosened (see figs. 5.1 - 5.2).

Connection with rubber tube
The rubber tube:
- must be as short as possible, without
contractions or kinks;
- must be easy to inspect along its
entire length to check its wear;
- must never be at any point in its
length in contact with the "hot" parts
of the appliance;
Make sure the tube is snugly fit at both
ends and use a standard tube clamp
(not supplied) to fasten it.
From time to time check to make sure
that the rubber tube is in perfect
condition and substitute it at printed due
date or if it shows signs of wearing or
damage.
Connection with metal pipes
Any connection to fixed metal pipes
must be done in such a way so as not
to place undue stress on the hob
chassis.
If using flexible metal pipes, make
sure they are not squashed, and do
not come into contact with moving
parts.
ROTATION OF THE ELBOW
To turn the elbow, follow these opera-
tions:
loosen the nut
turn the elbow
lock the nut
make sure that there are no leakages
by a soapy solution.
