9. While keeping the diagonal belt tensioned,
slide it into the guide, located on the rear
of the backseat (diag. 14). Tension the belt
as much as possible, checking that it is not
slack or twisted.
WARNING! After fitting the child car seat, al-
ways check that car safety belt is tensioned
correctly, and that it is safely locked into its
buckle. Also check that the buckle of the car
safety belt does not come into contact with
the points where the safety belt fastens the
child car seat: it could make the child car seat
unsafe in the event of an accident (diag. 15A,
diag. 15B)
CAUTION! For your child's safety: Do not fasten
the child car seat with the car safety belt in any
other ways than as indicated in this instruc-
tions booklet!
HOW TO PLACE THE CHILD INTO THE
CHILD CAR SEAT
10. Press the orange button located at the
front of the child car seat and, while press-
ing the button, pull completely the two
belts of the child car seat (diag. 16).
11. Unfasten the buckle of the safety belts
pressing the red button (diag. 17).
12. Place the child into the child car seat and
fasten the harness (diag. 18). The shape of
the straps does not allow to insert a single
strap.
13. Tension the safety harness, pulling the ap-
propriate adjustment belt (diag. 19), and
make sure that it fits correctly the child
HOW TO ADJUST THE HANDLE
The handle of the child car seat can be ad-
justed to 3 positions (diag. 20):
A Position for car, hand or stroller transporta-
tion.
B Rocking position.
C Baby chair position.
CHILD CAR SEAT IN THE BABY CHAIR OR
ROCKING POSITION (FOR USE AS A RE-
CLINED CRADLE)
1. Unfasten the car safety belt.
2. Remove the diagonal part of the car safety
belt form the clamp.
3. Hold the safety belt and ease it into the re-
tractor.
How to Fit the Child Car Seat into the Car
without the Child
When it is not used in the car, the child car seat
can also be used as a bouncing or baby chair.
To use it in the rocking position, place the han-
dle in the "B" position.
To use it as a baby chair, place the handle in
the "C" position.
Important! Please keep these instructions for
future reference.
WARNING: Never leave the child unattended
WARNING: Do not use the Reclined Cradle
once your child can sit unaided.
WARNING: This reclined cradle is not intended
for prolonged periods of sleeping.
WARNING: It is dangerous to use the Reclined
Cradle on an elevated surface, such as tables,
chairs, etc..
WARNING: Always use the restraint system.
The Reclined Cradle does not replace a cot or
a bed. Should your child need to sleep, then
it should be placed in a suitable cot or bed.
Do not use the reclined cradle if any compo-
nents are broken or missing
Do not use accessories or replacement parts
other than those approved by the manufacturer.
Wash by hand in cold water; Do not bleach; Do
not tumble dry; Do not iron; Do not dry clean.
Age: From birth to approximately 6 months
(up to 9kg.)
Only place the reclined cradle on flat, stable
surfaces.
WARNING! Before carrying the child car seat,
always place and lock the handle in the verti-
cal position "A".
HOW TO REMOVE THE FABRIC COVER
To clean the fabric cover of the child car seat,
unfasten the harness and remove the fabric
cover. During these operations, make sure
that you:
• Unfasten the two side elastics before re-
moving the fabric cover from the frame
(diag. 21).
• Remove the fabric cover from the adjust-
ment button of the safety harness, as
shown in diag. 22.
Please refer to the care label for instructions
on cleaning the fabric cover.
Clean the safety belts, buckle and plastic parts
with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents
or bleaching agents: they may damage the
components or make them unsafe.
