Lets you make or receive a call.

NAME,TEL button
Alternates the caller's name and phone
number on the display when the Caller ID
service including caller name service is in
use.

PAUSE button
Inserts a pause in the dialing sequence.

PGM (program) button
Stores phone numbers in the speed dialing.

SPEED DIAL button
Accesses the handset's speed dialing
numbers.

Redials the last number called.

Allows you to disconnect the call.

Allows you to use the Caller ID functions.

TIME/DAY button
Shows the time and day of a received call

Scrolls the information on the display.

RING ON/BATT SAVE switch
Set to RING ON to turn the ringer on.
Set to BATT SAVE to turn the ringer off and
conserve battery power.

Battery compartment

MUTE button
Mutes your voice for privacy. You can hear
the other party but the other party cannot
hear you.

CHANNEL button
Allows you to change channels if
interference occurs.

BATT CHECK button
Checks the remaining battery power.

FLASH/CALL WAITING button
Switches to a second call if you have "call
waiting" service, or lets you make a new
call.

Handset indicator
Lights to indicate that the handset is ready
for dialing or is engaged in conversation.

CALL WAITING indicator
Lights when the Caller ID with call waiting
service is in use.

OLD indicator
Indicates the displayed caller's name (or
phone number) in the Caller ID list is
already checked.

NEW indicator
Indicates the displayed caller's name (or
phone number) in the Caller ID list is not yet
checked.

Battery indicator
Indicates the remaining battery power.

Shows the caller's name or phone number,
