Using memory match function with Caller ID

!
The memory match function will
not work if the call is "blocked"
or made through a telephone
company which does not offer
Caller ID service.
p If the entire name of a caller is not shown on
the display
The caller's name will be followed by "n" on the display. This
means that there are some letters not shown on the display.
By pressing / (6), you can see the hidden part.
To return to the previous indication, press ? (4).
This feature allows you to instantly identify calls from people who
you call often. If you receive a call from a phone number stored in
one of the speed dialing buttons (see page 21), the ringer sound will
change to its tone.
p Before using the memory match function
Store phone numbers in the speed dialing buttons and write
down the names with the speed dialing numbers you have stored
on the directory (see pages 21 and 22).
p When you receive a call from a number
stored in memory
The ringer sound will change to its tone from the second ring.
This lets you know without looking at the display that the call is
from someone who you call often.
