11. Maintenance and Care

Clean the exterior of the model and the remote control only with a soft, dry cloth or brush. Never use abrasive cleaning
agents or chemical solutions as these could damage the surfaces of the casings.
Check the position of the two main gears (1) to the motor
pinions (2) after hard landings (or if the model has crashed
to the ground). If the gears no longer interlock, the rotors
are not powered correctly and the model will turn in place.
Lift the canopy from the holding pins and remove it to the
front.
Now you can carefully pull the landing gear off downwards
with the bottom plate (3).
If necessary, you can move the gears on the rotor or motor
shafts with pincers or by hand.
Important!
It must not be possible to move the shaft with
the two main rotors up or down and the gears
must interlock cleanly.
Assembly takes place in the reverse order.
