5. Product description

The pre-assembled electric helicopter "Redfox" has a rotor head with positively adjusted rotor blades. Since the angle
of incidence of the rotor blades cannot be changed in relation to each other, the helicopter ascends and descends
through speed change of the main rotor.
The swash plate with a 90° hinge is controlled by 2 servos. Deliberately inclining and tilting the swash plate causes
a constantly repeating direction-dependent (cyclic) adjustment of the blades which enables flight in a particular direc-
tion.
The stabilisation and control about the vertical axis (main rotor shaft) take place via a tail rotor, which has a rigid angle
of incidence and is driven by a separate electric motor. A built-in altitude sensor ensures that the model helicopter can
automatically maintain its current flight altitude.
The central control electronics consist of a radio receiver, a complex gyro system for flight attitude stabilisation and
two speed controllers for the two electric motors. The supplied 2.4 GHz radio remote control allows sensitive steering
of the model in any direction.
The model can take off and land either automatically at the push of a button or manually.
To operate the model, 4 AA/Mignon batteries are required (not included).
Only use non-rechargeable batteries to power the remote control.

Damage caused due to failure to observe these operating instructions will void the warranty. We
shall not be liable for any consequential damage!
We shall not be liable for damage to property or personal injury caused by incorrect handling or
failure to observe the safety information! Such cases will void the warranty/guarantee.
Normal wear and tear during operation (e.g. worn-out gear wheels or servo transmission) are excluded
from the guarantee and warranty, the same applies to accidental damage (e.g. broken landing bows or
rotor blades).
