RecIpes FoR the GRateR (2 oR 3)

4-5 apples (mellow sort), 2-3 tablespoons of
sugar, 1 bag of vanilla sugar (10 g), 1 egg yolk,
1 egg white, 1 tablespoon of cream
Thaw the puff pastry. Roll it to a rectangle (do
not knead, the dough will not rise). Cut into 1.5
cm wide stripes from both sides on about 1/3 of
the total width, the third in the middle should
not be cut. Spread 1 tablespoon of bread crumbs
on the middle part of the dough. Peel the app-
les, cut them into pieces and grate them with
the ESGE-Zauberette
. Fill the apple chips into
®
a bowl, add the remaining bread crumbs, the
sugar, and the vanilla sugar, mix the ingredients
and pour them on the uncut piece of dough.
Fold the two cut dough sections over the apple
filling, alternatingly from left and from right to
form a plait . Eventually „glue" the dough ends
with eggwhites.
Mix the cream and the egg yolks and brush the
strudel with this mixture. Place the strudel on a

125 ml sweet cream, 50 g butter, salt, pepper
Wash and peel the potatoes and slice them in
the ESGE-Zauberette
®
gratinée plate. Fill the potato slices into the
plate. Season milk and cream with salt and
pepper and pour the mixture over the potatoes.
Add the remaining butter in small flakes on the
top. Bake in the oven (180 °C, convection oven
160 °C, approx. 45 minutes).

apple strudel
Ingredients:
1 pa-
cket of frozen puff
pastry, 2 tablespoons
of
breadcrumbs,
Gratinée potatoes
(4 persons)
Ingredients:
1 kg potatoes,
500 ml milk,
(slice 4 or 5). Butter a
baking tin and bake it in the oven (convection
oven - 160 °C approximate 30-35 minutes)
Please respect also the instructions of the oven
manufacturer.
TIPP: Enjoy it warm or cold with vanilla sauce
or ice cream.
carrot or kohlrabi garnishing (4 persons)
Ingredients:
800 g carrots or kohlrabi, 1 tablespoon of
sunflower oil, 2 teaspoons of vegetable stock,
1 pinch of nutmeg, 2-3 tablespoons of sweet
cream, 1 bunch of parsley
Clean and peel the carrot resp. the kohlrabi and
cut them into pieces, grate the vegetables in the
ESGE-Zauberette
.
®
Heat the oil in a teflonized pan and steam them.
Season with vegetable stock and nutmeg. Refine
with cream.
Chop the parsley in the ESGE-Zauberette
(chopping knife) and spread it over the vegeta-
bles.
Please follow also the instructions of the oven
manufacturer.

add 1-2 sliced onions

add 500 g sliced tomatoes

add 500 g sliced mushrooms
