For grating of:
Vegetables (tomato, cucumber, carrot,
etc.)
Fruit
Bread or bread crumbs
Cheese, Parmesan, herbs
Chocolate, herbs
1. Place the discharge plate (2) into the bowl
(1). Make sure that the four notches of the
plate match the protrusion of the bowl.
2. Mount a disk into the opening of the the
disk holder (4).
3. Put the disk holder (4) on the shaft of the
plate (2). please handle the disks with great
care as they are very sharp.
4. Place the transmission unit on the bowl.
5. Place the ESGE-Zauberstab
cising too much pressure on the transmis-
sion shaft (7) and switch your ESGE-Zau-
berstab
onto 2nd speed.

6. Fill the foodstuff into the feed tube. If the
foodstuff is too large, cut it into convenient
pieces fitting easily into the funnel.
7. Always use the pusher (9) to add additio-
nal foodstuff through the feed tube. Fill the
feed tube completely. If not filled suffici-
ently, vegetable pieces may block the appli-
ance. Never reach with your fingers or with
any hard utensils (spoons, knives, bones,
etc.) into the feed tube!
cleaNING
1. Clean the appliance as soon as you have
finished working. The synthetic parts may
become discoloured by certain food or spi-
ces (i.e. carrots, radish, nutmeg etc.).
2. All parts except the transmission unit (6)
are dishwasher proof. The discharge plate
can be taken out for cleaning.
