OPERATI ON – REM OTE CON TROL H AN D SET
The rem ot e cont rol handset ( 31) is power ed by one PP3 9Volt bat t ery, and is act ivat ed by m oving t he slide
swit ch t o " On" - I ( Fig. 5A) . Once act ivat ed t he green LED ( Fig. 5H) will illum inat e and t he direct ional cont rols
can now be used.

When you driv e st raight forw ards or reverse ( press but t on B or C) , it is also possible t o adj ust t he direct ion by
addit ional pressing but t on D or E ( when driving forwards) or but t on F or G ( when dr iving reverse) .
I n addit ion, t he 'right forward' ( E) and 'left reverse' ( F) but t ons or 'left forward' ( D) and 'right rev erse' ( G)
but t ons m ay be pressed at t he sam e t im e t o t urn t he carav an around on it s own ax is w it hout m oving forward or
backward ( t his funct ion j ust can work under t he " single- ax le funct ion" ) .
When you swit ch wit hin 2 seconds from forw ard driving t o r everse driving ( and t he ot her way around) , a sm all
delay of 1 second will appear t o prot ect t he elect ronics and t he m ot or s.

The green LED goes off and t he rem ot e cont rol handset is in t he " st and- by" m odes which m eans t hat t here
always w ill be used som e cur rent w hich causes t he bat t ery t o go down. So always m ake sure t he rem ot e
cont rol handset is t ur ned off by t he slide sw it ch.
To react ivat e t he rem ot e cont rol, m ove slide swit ch t o " Off" –O and t hen back t o " On" - I aft er approxim at ely 1
second.

and ready t o use.
Green LED ( Fig. 5H) is blink ing, no buzzer: no com m unicat ion bet w een handset and cont rol unit . This could
be because of t oo m uch dist ance bet w een r em ot e control handset and cont rol unit , or t he bat t ery isolat ion
swit ch for m anoeuvring syst em is not t urned on or t hat t here is a dist or t ion signal dist urbing t he
com m unicat ion. As soon as connect ion is good again t he gr een LED w ill be cont inue on and t he syst em is
ready t o use.
Blue bat t ery v olt age LED ( Fig. 5K) is blinking in com binat ion wit h buzzer ( 2 t im es blink ing, break , 2 t im es
blinking, break et c.) : Bat t ery volt age t oo low ( < 10V) . Bat t ery needs t o be recharged.
Blue bat t ery v olt age LED ( Fig. 5K) is blinking in com binat ion wit h buzzer ( 4 t im es blink ing, break , 4 t im es
blinking, break et c.) : Bat t ery Volt age t oo high ( over charged) . Try t o discharge t he bat t ery by t urning on a
user ( for exam ple a lam p or wat er - pum p) .

break et c.) : Am p overload pr ot ect ion is act ivat ed. Wait about 60 seconds and t ry again.

When t he bat t ery is em pt y ( blue 9V bat t er y LED ( Fig. 5J) is blink ing) , it needs t o be r eplaced.
Open t he rear cover of t he handset ( Fig. 7A) .
Take out t he dead/ old bat t er y and dispose in t he appropriat e way.
I nst all a new r eplacem ent bat t ery ( Fig. 7.1) . Make sure t o use a leak proof PP3 ( 9Volt ) bat t ery ( No claim s
under guarant ee can be considered for dam age caused by leak ing bat t eries) .
Close t he rear cover again.
