Rem em ber t o leave a sm all am ount of slack cable near t he m ot ors t o allow for t heir m ovem ent w hen t he driv e
roller s are engaged.
Rout e t he m ot or cables along t he under side of t he caravan floor, inside t he supplied convolut ed t runking ( 11)
( t his will prot ect t he elect rical cables against sharp edges and dirt ) and t hrough t he dr illed hole.
Secur e t he cable t r unk ing ( 11) t o t he chassis or under body of t he caravan by using t he P- Clips ( 20) and screw s
( 19) .
Once t he m ot or cables are t hrough t he drilled hole nex t t o t he cont rol unit ( 32) , cut t he cables, ensuring t hat
t hey ar e sam e lengt h. Rem ove approx. 5m m of t he insulat ion from t he ends. Fix t he spade fork connect ors ( 24)
t o t he m ot or cables by using crim ping plier s. A secure and good qualit y connect ion on each cable is essent ial.
At t ach t he spade fork connect ors t o t he t er m inals on t he cont rol unit ( see wiring diagram Fig. 12) and fix t hem
t ight ly by t he screws. A safe and good qualit y connect ion on each cable is again essent ial.
Find a suit able place for t he bat t ery power isolat ion sw it ch ( 29) which includes an ext ernal holder wit h hinged
cover. I m por t a n t : Th e sw it ch m u st be m ou n t e d on t o t h e e x t e r ior body of t h e ca r a va n a nd be e a sily
a cce ssible fr om t h e out side of t h e ca r a va n in ca se of a n y e m e r ge n cy. The sw it ch m ust be m ount ed close
t o t he locat ion of t he bat t ery in order t o keep t he lengt h of t he bat t ery cables t o a m inim um .
Use t he cardboard t em plat e t o posit ion t he hole posit ions and t he drill holes. Mount t he swit ch and t he housing
wit h t he bolt s, washer s and nut s, and finally m ount it on t he caravan w it h st ainless st eel screw s ( 19) .
Rout e t he posit ive ( + ) power cable ( including fuse) from t he bat t ery t o t he bat t ery power isolat ion sw it ch ( 29)
and t han furt her t o t he cont r ol unit ( 32) .
The elect ronic connect ions of t he bat t ery power isolat ion swit ch ( 29) m ust be cover ed by t he supplied rubber
isolat ion shells ( 33) .

Again it is recom m ended t o use t he supplied t runk ing ( 11) t o prot ect t he cables against sharp edges. At t ach t he
t runk ing w it h P- clips ( 20) and P- clip scr ews ( 19) .
Cut t he cables t o an appropriat e lengt h and rem ove approx . 5m m of t he insulat ion from t he ends. Fix t he spade
connect ors by using cr im ping pliers. Two t y pes of bat t ery t er m inal connect or ( 22 & 23) are provided for use as
appropriat e. A secure and good qualit y connect ion on each cable is essent ial.
Connect t he bat t ery cables ( 14 & 15) t o t he cont rol unit ( 32) : At t ach t he spade fork connect ors t o t he posit ive
( + ) en negat iv e ( - ) t erm inal of t he cont rol box and fix t hem t ight ly by t he scr ews.
Connect t he bat t ery cables t o t he exist ing bat t ery t er m inals ( red = posit iv e, black = negat iv e) .

Seal t he 25m m hole in vehicle under body using plast ic body sealant .
Finally find a suit able place for t he rem ot e cont rol handset wall holder ( 34) and fix t his by t he supplied screw s
( out of reach of children or ot her unaut horised people) .

This m anual descr ibes t he general inst allat ion and use of t he m anoeuvring syst em for single ax le carav ans.
When you use t he m anoeuvring syst em for a t win axle car avan, please check t he follow ing:

The procedure for inst alling a 2 m ot ors m anoeuvring syst em on a t w in ax le caravan is t he sam e as for a single
axle caravan. The elect ronic cont rol unit ( 4) only m ust be prepared for t win ax le use:
Turn off t he bat t ery pow er isolat ion swit ch and m ove t he single/ t win axle funct ion sw it ch ( Fig 3S/ T) on t he
cont rol unit t o t he t win axle posit ion ( Fig. 3T) , so t hat t he m anoeuvring syst em can be used for a t w in axle
caravan. I n t he t w in axle funct ion when m aking curves, all wheels w ill drive but at a different speed.
