OPERATI ON – ELECTRON I C CON TROL UN I T
The elect ronic cont rol unit ( 32) , which is m ount ed inside your caravan, is responsible for cont rolling t he
m anoeuvring syst em .
The cont rol unit has t hree LED's, one pushbut t on and one slide swit ch ( Fig. 3) :
Gr e e n LED ( Fig. 3B) : Power LED cont inuously illum inat ed when syst em is act ivat ed ( by m oving slide swit ch t o
" On" - I ) . I f t he handset far aw ay from t he cont rol unit , bey ond t he availably dist ance, t his LED will go out .
Blu e LED ( Fig. 3C) : Error m essage LED concerning caravan bat t ery:
Blue LED is blinking ( 2 t im es blinking, break , 2 t im es blink ing, break et c.) : Bat t ery volt age t oo low ( < 10V) .
Bat t ery needs t o be recharged.
Blue LED is blinking ( 4 t im es blinking, break , 4 t im es blink ing, break et c.) : Bat t ery Volt age t oo high ( over
charged) . Try t o discharge t he bat t ery by t urning on a user ( for exam ple a lam p or wat er- pum p) .
Re d LED ( Fig. 3D) is blink ing ( 6 t im es blink ing, break , 6 t im es blink ing, break et c.) : Am p overload pr ot ect ion is
act ivat ed. Wait about 60 seconds and t ry again.
I n general all error m essages will reset aut om at ically aft er one m inut e. I f t his is not t he case, reset t he
elect ronics of t he m anoeuvring syst em by swit ching off t he syst em via t he isolat ion sw it ch and t he rem ot e
cont rol handset for at least 15 seconds and t hen t ur ning it on again.
Th e Re se t Bu t t on ( Fig. 3A) : The rem ot e cont rol handset and t he cont rol unit are sy nchronised wit h each ot her
in t he fact ory. I f t he cont rol unit or t he r em ot e cont rol handset is r eplaced, t hey m ust be re- sy nchronised as
descr ibed below:
Check t he inst allat ion in accordance w it h t he inst allat ion inst r uct ions and ensure t hat t he driv e rollers are
not applied. Check t hat t he bat t ery is proper ly connect ed, check t he condit ion of t he bat t ery and t hat a
volt age of 12 V is present at t he cont rol unit .
Please ensure t hat t he bat t er y isolat ion sw it ch is on.
Act ivat e t he rem ot e cont rol handset by sliding t he slide sw it ch t o " On" - I ( Fig. 5A) . The green LED on t he
rem ot e cont rol handset ( Fig. 5H) st ar t s t o flash slowly .
Press t he reset but t on ( Fig. 3A) on t he cont r ol unit . All t hree LED's on t he cont rol unit ( Fig. 3B, 3C & 3D)
will flash slowly.
Press bot h for wards ( Fig. 5B) and rever se ( Fig. 5C) but t on on t he r em ot e cont rol handset for about 3
seconds. Then t he handset buzzer will give a short beep t o confir m t hat t he synchronisat ion is com plet e.
Aft er successful synchronisat ion, t he green LED on t he cont rol unit ( Fig. 3B) and on t he rem ot e cont rol
handset ( Fig. 5H) will illum inat e cont inuously .
Th e sin gle - t w in a x le fu n ct ion sw it ch ( Fig. 3S/ T) : The EN
suit able for bot h single axle and t w in axle caravans. You j ust need t o pull t he single- t win axle funct ion swit ch
( Fig 3S/ T) on t he cont rol unit , so t hat t he m anoeuvr ing sy st em can be used for a single- axle caravan or a t win-
axle caravan ( for 2 m ot or use but also for 4 m ot or use) . I n t he t win axle funct ion t he all wheels w ill dr ive but at
a different speed.
The sw it ch st andard pre- select ed for single axle use ( Fig 3S) . For t w in ax le use, j ust m ove t he sw it ch t o t he
t win axle posit ion ( Fig. 3T) . When m ove t he single- t win axle funct ion sw it ch, t he bat t ery power isolat ion swit ch
( 29) m ust be t urned off.

Fit t he end socket of t he engagem ent t ool ( 6) ont o t he engagem ent spindle ( Fig. 9) on t he right or left hand
m ot or unit . This only needs t o be done on one side of your caravan since t he ot her side will aut om at ically follow
via t he cross act uat ion bar.
Turn t he handle unt il it will t urn no m ore w it hout ex cessive force. The colour of t he t ract ion indicat or label ( Fig.
11A) should be int o t he gr een area.
