m ount ed in front of t he t w in axle and one t im e for t he m anoeuvring set m ount ed behind t he t win axle.

Do not use t wo separat e bat t eries for a 4 m ot ors m anoeuvring syst em on a t win axle caravan.
Now bot h elect ronic cont rol unit s ( 4) m ust be prepared for t win axle use:
Turn off t he bat t ery pow er isolat ion swit ch and m ove t he single/ t win axle funct ion sw it ch ( Fig 3S/ T) on t he
cont rol unit t o t he t win axle posit ion ( Fig. 3T) , so t hat t he m anoeuvring syst em can be used for a t w in axle
caravan. I n t he t w in axle funct ion when m aking curves, all wheels w ill drive but at a different speed.
Finally bot h elect ronic cont rol unit s ( 4) m ust be prepared for t he use of only one rem ot e handset ( 32) . The
rem ot e handset need t o be sy nchronised w it h bot h elect ronic cont rol unit s using t he following procedur e:
Check t he inst allat ion in accordance w it h t he inst allat ion inst r uct ions and ensure t hat t he driv e rollers are
not applied. Check t hat t he bat t ery is proper ly connect ed, check t he condit ion of t he bat t ery and t hat a
volt age of 12V is present at t he cont rol unit .
Please ensure t hat bot h bat t ery isolat ion sw it ches ar e on.
Act ivat e t he rem ot e cont rol handset by sliding t he slide sw it ch t o " On" - I ( Fig. 5A) . The green LED on t he
rem ot e cont rol handset ( Fig. 5H) st ar t s t o flash slowly .
Press t he reset but t on ( Fig. 3A) on t he cont r ol unit . All t hree LED's on t he cont rol unit ( Fig. 3B, 3C & 3D)
will flash slowly.
Press bot h for wards ( Fig. 5B) and rever se ( Fig. 5C) but t on on t he r em ot e cont rol handset for about 3
seconds. Then t he handset buzzer will give a short beep t o confir m t hat t he synchronisat ion is com plet e.
Aft er successful synchronisat ion, t he green LED on t he cont rol unit ( Fig. 3B) and on t he rem ot e cont rol
handset ( Fig. 5H) will illum inat e cont inuously .
Repeat t his pr ocedur e wit h t he second elect ronic cont rol unit .
Turn t he rem ot e handset " Off" and t hen " On" again so bot h cont rol unit s will be act ivat ed.
The inst allat ion of t he caravan m anoeuvring syst em for t w in axle use is now com plet e. For det ails of t he
operat ion, use and all t he LED and but t on funct ions, please refer t o t he st andard chapt er s of t his m anual.
OPERATI ON – SAFETY GUI D ELI N ES
Pract ice operat ing t he m anoeuvring syst em in an open area before using for t he fir st t im e. This is t o fully
fam iliar ise yourself w it h t he handset / m anoeuvring syst em operat ion.
Before use, always check t he caravan m anoeuvring syst em for any dam age.
When t ow ing or m oving t he caravan please be aware, at all t im es, t hat gr ound clearance is reduced
when t he m anoeuvring syst em has been fit t ed.
Always ensure t hat childr en and pet s are kept well out of t he way dur ing operat ion.
When operat ing t he syst em , ensure t hat no hairs, fingers or ot her body part s, clot hing or any ot her
obj ect s carr ied on t he body can becom e t rapped by m oving or rot at ing part s ( e.g. driv e roller s) .
I n t he event of m alfunct ions, pull on t he handbrake im m ediat ely and t urn off t he m ain isolat ion power
swit ch.
To m aint ain signal st rengt h, always m ake sure t hat , during m anoeuvring, t he dist ance bet w een t he
rem ot e cont rol and t he carav an does not ex ceed 5 m et res.
Due t o t he nat ure of a radio signal, it can get corrupt ed by ext er nal t errain or obj ect s. So t here m ay be
sm all ar eas ar ound t he carav an wher e t he qualit y of recept ion reduces, hence t he m anoeuvring syst em
m ay st op m om ent ar ily .
Always be aware t hat t he m anoeuvring sy st em incr eases t he weight of your caravan or t railer. So t his
reduces t he payload of t he caravan.
Do not exceed t he t ot al safe working load of 1800kg laden weight ( carav an including load) when 2
m ot ors are used and 2500kg laden w eight ( caravan including load) when 4 m ot or s ( t w in axle) are
