Locat e t he bat t ery isolat ion swit ch t o be accessible at all t im es when par king and m oving t he caravan.
Do not r em ove, change or alt er any part s of t he chassis, axle, suspension or brake m echanism . Any dr illing of
holes in t he chassis is not allowed.
Do not inst all t he unit if you are under t he influence of drugs, alcohol or m edicat ion t hat could im pair y our
abilit y t o use t he equipm ent safely .

Place t he caravan on a hard, level surface. The use of a lift ing ram p or an assem bly pit is ideal for access and
personal safet y.
Unpack all t he com ponent s and check for t he presence of all par t s ( see package cont ent s list ) . Writ e down, on
t he product warrant y regist rat ion card, t he 10- digit serial num ber ( t his is locat ed on an alum inium plat e on t he
side of one of t he m ot or unit s) .
Clean t he area of your chassis wher e you need t o m ount all com ponent s t o ensure a good fit t ing.
Make sur e t he caravan is prepared for inst allat ion. Check before inst allat ion t hat im port ant areas, such as
drains/ spare t y re et c. do not cause any obst ruct ion t o t he funct ion of t he caravan m anoeuvring syst em .
Ensure bot h rollers are in t he DI SENGAGED posit ion ( Fig. 10A) , as t he unit will not fit cor rect ly ot herw ise ( Not e:
when fully disengaged, t he point er is posit ioned in t he beginning of t he yellow area) .
Loosely assem ble t he left hand m ot or unit ( 1) , right hand m ot or unit ( 2) and m ain cross bar ( 3) ( Fig. 1) . The
nut s ( Fig. 1B) , on t he cross bar ( 3) t o secur e bot h m ot or unit s, m ust be no m ore t han finger- t ight at t his st age.
N ot e : I n principle, t he unit should be fit t ed in front of t he caravan road wheels, but if fit t ing in t his posit ion is
not possible because of obst acles or a t oo high hit ch ball w eight , it is per m issible t o fit it t o t he rear of t he
wheels by rot at ing t he whole assem bly ( Fig. 1) by 180° degrees.
Loosely fit t he t wo clam ping assem blies ( 7) t o t he chassis ( Fig. 2 & 13) and at t ach. Use t he bolt s M10x 60, nut s
M10 and washers M10 ( 8,17,18) and put t hem in t he diagonal posit ioned holes of t he alum inium chassis clam p
plat es. Nut s m ust be no m or e t han finger - t ight .
Assem ble t he pre- m ount ed m anoeuvring syst em on t he alum inium chassis clam p plat es by using t he t wo U-
shaped bracket s ( 9) , bolt s M10x50, nut s M10 and washer s M10 ( 16,17,18) . Nut s m ust be no m ore t han finger-
t ight .
Make sur e t hat alum inium dr ive rollers of t he m ot or s are approxim at ely on t he sam e alt it ude as t he cent re
( axle) of t he caravan wheel ( ± 20m m ) . To com pensat e a possible unevenness ( and low er t he m ot ors) ,
