TROUBLESHOOTING

PROBLEM
The Battery Monitor doesn't
operate (no display / display
blocked)
Wrong display of the current
polarity ( positive when
discharging)
Wrong indication of the
state of charge
Display « Not Connected »
on the screen.
Note : If none of these solutions has solved your problem, please, contact your dealer.
SOLUTION OR SUGGESTION
- Check the connections between the batteries /
sources and the Battery Monitor.
- Check the fuses (internal of Battery Monitor , F1, and
on the KITSHUNT).
- Check batteries / sources voltage. It must be more
than 9VDC.
- Try restarting the battery monitor by disconnecting
and reconnecting all RJ11 cables.
- Current sense leads from the shunt are reversed
(See wiring diagram page 39, 40, 41, 56 and 57).
- Check the installation of the KITSHUNT (See wiring
diagram page 39, 40, 41, 56 and 57).
- Make a synchronization when the battery is fully
charged.
- Check the « - » of the installation are connected
together.
(See wiring diagram page 39, 40, 41, 56 and 57).
- Check the fuse of the KITSHUNT.
- Check the connections between the battery / source
and the Battery Monitor.
- Check measurement cables are in good condition.
- Check the black RJ11 cable is in good condition.
