► Battery Monitor connection
Disconnect the charger from AC power-supply and also from the batteries (no input

voltage and no output voltage) and the others energy sources.
Place first the 10m cable with its RJ11 connector between the battery and the LCD

monitor final location. Make sure that it will not be too much twisted or bended and that
it will not be located near an electrical cable with interference.
Installation on a battery:

Battery side: connect the shunt side « + » of the battery, beware of the polarity,
« B+ » battery side, « U+ » utilization/power sources side. Connect the green
PHOENIX connector on the battery with the 2 wires, « + » on the terminal « + » of
the battery, « - » on the terminal « - » of the battery. Connect the RJ11 cable on the
measuring board.
Installation on an energy source:
Energy source side: connect the shunt side « + » of the energy source, beware of
the polarity, « U+ » power sources side, « B+ » utilizations / batteries side. Connect
the green PHOENIX connector on the energy source with the 2 wires, « + » on the
terminal « + » of the energy source, « - » on the terminal « - » of the energy source.
Connect the RJ11 cable on the measuring board.
When used with more than one battery bank / energy source, all « - » must
be connected together (see wiring diagram page 39, 40, 41, 56 and 57). In case of
non compliance with the wiring, risk of damage to the equipment.
Display Side: connect the RJ11 cable on one of connectors 1, 2 or 3, depending on

the number of monitored batteries / energy sources.
If additional voltages measurements (4 and 5 connectors):
Installation on a battery: connect the red cable length 10m on the terminal « + » of

the voltage to be measured.
Display side: connect the red cable length 10m on the connectors 4 or 5
