RELAY CONFIGURATION

The Battery Monitor integrates a configurable electrical contact on the channel 1 alarms. It
can perform the control of a generator set. (see Characteristics of the contact)
To access to the relay configuration menu, when

you are viewing the status of yours power sources
and batteries, press the button
setup menu appears on the screen.
Select the menu « Relay Configuration », and

Battery Monitor JBNUM II - CPS3
Principle
Pulse : the relay coil is supplied for 10 seconds at the
detection of the alarm.
Passive : the relay coil is supplied at the detection of the
alarm. The relay coil is de-supplied depending on the
configuration parameter « Relay Deactivation ».
Active : the relay coil is de-supplied at the detection of
the alarm. The relay coil is supplied depending on the
configuration parameter « Relay Deactivation ».
The user can choose between 3 types of alarms to
activate the relay.
The deactivation of the relay can be done in 2 ways :
- Manual shutdown > Hold the button
seconds.
- Shutdown on capacity : the relay is deactivated when
the battery 1 capacity achieved to a threshold defined
by « Relay Deactivation ».
