and/ or knowledge unless they are supervised by
a person responsible for their safety or they have
received instructions on how to operate the device.
c)
When working with the device, use common sense
and stay alert. Temporary loss of concentration
whilst using the device may lead to serious injuries.
d)
To prevent accidental operation, make sure that
the thermostat knob is in the 0° position before
connecting the device to a power source.
e)
The device is not a toy. Children should be supervised
so that they will not play with the device.
2.4. SAFE DEVICE USE
a)
Do not use the device if the thermostat knob is not
working properly (if it does not turn on or does not
turn off heating). Devices that cannot be controlled
by switches or knobs are dangerous, they cannot be
used and must be repaired.
b)
Make sure the plug is disconnected from the
socket before attempting any adjustments, tool
replacements or before putting the device aside.
Such precautions will reduce the risk of accidentally
activating the device.
c)
When not in use, store in a safe place, away from
children and people not familiar with the device, who
have not read the user manual. The device may pose
a hazard in the hands of inexperienced users.
d)
Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e)
Device repair or maintenance should be carried out
by qualified persons, only using original spare parts.
This will ensure safe use.
f)
To ensure the operational integrity of the device, do
not remove factory fitted guards and do not loosen
any screws.
g)
It is forbidden to move, adjusting and rotating the
device in the course of work.
h)
Do not leave this appliance unattended while it is in use.
i)
Clean the device regularly to avoid a durable
encrustation of dirt.
j)
Do not run the device when empty.
k)
Do not immerse the device in water.
l)
Do not overfill the tank.
m)
Use the device with caution as it becomes hot during
operation and bodily contact with the surface or
contents of the device may cause burns.
n)
The device may only be used on a flat surface.
o)
The device is not a toy. Cleaning and maintenance
may not be carried out by children without
supervision by an adult person.
p)
Never move or carry the kettle when it is full of hot
liquids.
ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protection facilities and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there is
still a slight risk of an accident or injury when using
the device. When using the device stay alert and use
common sense.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The device is designed for heating and keeping soups,
stews, and sausages in water at high temperature.
The device is not intended for cooking soups or sauces, or
for defrosting frozen products. The lid should be attached
at all times and closed when soups are not being served.
The user is liable for any damage resulting from
nonintended use of the device.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
Appliance location
The temperature of environment must not be higher than
40°C and the relative humidity should be less than 85%.
Ensure good ventilation in the room in which the device
is used. The distance between each side of the device and
the wall or other objects should be at least 10 cm. Keep the
device away from hot surfaces. Operate the device on flat,
stable, clean, refractory and dry surfaces out of the reach
of children and people with mental disabilities. Install the
device making sure that constant access to the main plug is
ensured. The power cord connected to the appliance must
be properly grounded and correspond to the technical
details.
Before first use, remove all elements and clean them along
with the entire device.
Assembly of the device
See figure 1. (on page 25-26)
1)
Fit the metal rim (2) on the body of the device (8).
2)
Model: RCST-10BB, RCST-10SB
Insert the food container (7) into the water tank (6)
and at the same time fasten the lid hook (1) with the
hinge between the food container (7) and the metal
rim (6).
Model: RCST-13SB
Insert the food container (7) into the water tank then
mount the lid (1).
3)
Close the lid (1).
3.3. DEVICE USE
See figure 2. (p. 25-26)
Begin use of the device when it is disassembled in the form
of separate parts.
1)
Place the device on an even, horizontal surface.
2)
Pour 0.6 litre of water into the external tank (6)
CAUTION: Do not overfill the water tank. The tank
should never be filled to the brim. Before use,
remove excess water.

3)
The internal container with the flange and cover
must be put in the external tank and then filled with
the desired foods.
4)
Turn on the device and select the proper
temperature (0-80°C). It is recommended to set the
lowest possible temperature which keeps the dish
ready to be served immediately.
The heating time depends on the quantity and temperature
of the food and water temperature in the external tank.
Once food is served remember to replace the lid to avoid
excessive heat loss.

3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Before each cleaning, adjustment, replacement
of accessories and if the device is not used, it is
necessary to pull out the mains plug and cool the
device completely.
b)
When cleaning the device, protect the electric parts
from humidity and from direct water contact to avoid
electric shocks and short-circuits. An impregnated
cloth is enough to clean the device if you do it
regularly!
c)
If the device is not to be used and stored for an
extended period of time, pay attention to the storage
conditions: The air has to be dry and the device
should be covered to be protected from dust.
d)
Use only mild detergents suitable for washing
surfaces which come into contact with food to wash
the device.
e)
After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried
before reusing it.
f)
Store the unit in a dry, cool place, free from moisture
and direct exposure to sunlight.
g)
Never spray the device with water jets.
h)
Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
i)
The device should be washed after each use.
